“Grand Reopening of the BAPS Shree Swaminarayan Temple Perth!”
It is the meticulous attention to detail that sets a project apart in all the best ways. This philosophy is perfectly exemplified in Stage 2 of our BAPS Temple Renovation project, expertly completed by our Elven Property team. The project involved converting a warehouse facility to a temple facility. This phase involved the careful installation of intricate artwork, the addition of decorative domes and pillars, the placement of architectural main entry wooden feature doors, the creation of external pathways and a carpark, as well as the construction of male and female bathrooms and shoe rack rooms. Made to order tiles with special ‘rangoli designs’ were installed to create a beautiful piece of art on the floors as you enter the temple. Additionally, we undertook the refurbishment of ceilings, carpets, and paintwork of the main alter and temple hall area.
One of the significant challenges was coordinating and installing facade pieces crafted in India but installed in Perth. The logistics and technicalities were complex, but the end result speaks for itself. Our team was able to handle the engineering challenges and ensure all technicalities were taken care of when installing the artwork. We took great care to ensure that the Temple remained open for worship during the construction phase, respecting its spiritual significance and the community’s needs. having had the privilege to contribute to the construction and renovation of numerous Mandirs, it is a blessing to be able to merge our professional expertise with projects of such profound spiritual and community value. We took great pride in merging aesthetics with functionality to further enhance this vital community space.
